FEMLISP uses two graphics packages, namely Gnuplot and Data Explorer (OpenDX). Make sure that they can be found in your path and that they work.
On Linux, these libraries should be available using the package manager. For example, on Debian/GNU Linux, they can be installed using something like the following shell command:
sudo apt install dx dx-doc gnuplot gnuplot-doc
